What does laser treatment for veins feel like?

At The Moll Clinic our in house laser systems cools the skin before and after each pulse of laser light. Most people experience a slight sting but this is quickly alleviated by the skin cooling system. After the laser treatment you can resume most normal activities immediately.

How does laser vein removal compared to alternative methods?

Larger areas may be treated with less discomfort than with sclerotherapy or vein stripping. The treatment is quick, painless and comfortable offering long lasting results.
It will work on any area of the body where there is a need to remove a blood vessel.
Small blood vessels which are difficult or impossible to treat with sclerotherapy respond very well to laser vein removal treatment.

What are the possible side effects?

The treatment may cause a slight reddening or temporary swelling of the area that has received the treatment, but most clients report few if any side effects. Leg veins may exhibit slight bruising for some days after treatment.

How many laser treatments will I need?

The amount of treatments you will need depends on the severity of the vein or veins to be removed. Most people need between 4 to 6 treatments for satisfactory result.
